Manningham Cobras are a strong, up and coming community football club based in Bulleen.
The club plays in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) where players play to enjoy their football with mates, working together to the ultimate goal of being consistently competitive and challenging for premierships.
Manningham Cobras have competed continuously at Koonung Reserve since 1975 going under several different names. Prior to Manningham, the club was known as the Bulleen Cobras (1995-2007), a merged club from Bulleen United and Canterbury North Balwyn. Bulleen United had a strong history in the VAFA and to this day the two premierships in F Section (1982) and E Section (1986) that the club won are still the only premierships that the Cobras have managed. Canterbury North Balwyn had its own history through the Eastern Suburban Churches competition and they only played two seasons in the VAFA without any success.
Our aim is to nurture a friendly environment, in which players can develop their skills as footballers and people in a cohesive, respectful and structured club.
